Victorian Collections Cataloguing Workshop – Torquay
January 1, 1970 @ 10:00 am
Victorian Collections is a free, online cataloguing system especially created for small museums in Victoria. This workshop offers a full day of training about the system, beginning with basic collection management. By the end of the day each participant will have photographed and catalogued an item from their organisation’s collection using the Victorian Collections system. Each organisation should aim to send at least 2 or 3 people to the training. This will spread the load of cataloguing, distribute the experience and make cataloguing an easier and more pleasant experience. Please bring a collection item for each person attending the training.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements when booking. Places are strictly limited, so book now to secure your place.
In return for this training, your organisation is requested to complete cataloguing of 20 items on the Victorian Collections system within 6 months of your training session.
