Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, AC, AFC (Ret’d) explores the ideas of service and sacrifice and Australia’s special relationship with New Zealand as we head towards the Centenary of Anzac. Talk 30 mins, followed by Q&A with Jill Singer.
ACM Angus Houston was the Chief of the Defence Force from 4 July 2005 until 4 July 2011, when he retired from the military after 41 years service. In 2011, Angus was named the Australian Father of the Year and in 2012, the ACT Australian of the Year. In 2012, Angus led the Expert Panel on Asylum Seekers.
