Regional Lecture Bairnsdale: The Other ANZACs

Peter Rees tells the story of the ‘other’ ANZACs who worked in the hospital camps, wards and tent surgeries on the edge of some of the most horrific battlefronts of human history. Discussing their efforts and experiences from the outbreak of war, Peter provides insight to the dedication and strength of these Australian women.
These were women who left for war on an adventure and were soon confronted with remarkable challenges that their civilian lives could never have prepared them for.
