Normie Rowe & Marcia Jones with The Playboys
November 12, 2019 @ 6:30 am - 9:00 am
This will be an event you don’t want to miss. Our ‘First King of Pop’, Normie Rowe, was conscripted at the peak of his popularity, and completed a Tour of Duty in Vietnam, 1968 – 1970, following which he turned his hand to television acting (Sons and Daughters), theatre (Les Miserables) and honing his singing skills. His repertoire is drawn from the breadth of an extraordinary performing career. He is an Australian treasure.
The National Vietnam Veterans Museum is proud to be able to host this extraordinary entertainer together with the talented Playboys and the wonderful Marcie Jones, who performed for troops in Vietnam with The Cookies in 1969. Ticket prices include a light supper after the show where you will have the privilege of meeting the performers. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available at bar prices.
Tickets must be booked online and start from $45 – $50. Available at Trybooking: www.trybooking.com/BDBWX.
The show commences at 7.30pm with 2 sessions of 40 minutes and a short interval in between.
