Military Historical Society of Australia – Biennial Conference

The conference is to be hosted by the Queensland Branch of the Society and will be held at Easter, 18 to 21 Apr 2014 in Maryborough, Queensland.
Conference Theme: 2014 marks the centenary of the outbreak of World War One. This year’s conference theme recognizes the impact 1914 had on Australia.
Conference venue: The conference will be held at one of Australia’s finest private museums, the Maryborough Military & Colonial Museum, 106 Wharf Street, Maryborough Q 4650
Cost: The cost for the two day conference is $70 (or $40 per day). The Conference Dinner is an additional $40 per person. Registration includes morning and afternoon tea and lunch.
Conference Program: Outline Itinerary:
Arrive Friday; those coming by air to Hervey Bay will be picked up but we need to know when and how many
Meet & greet Friday evening at the museum, 106 Wharf Street, Maryborough at 6pm
Conference start at 8:30 am on Saturday
Dinner Sat night at RSL Maryborough 6.30pm for 7pm, coat and tie with miniatures
Sunday commence again at 9am
