Lost Boys of ANZAC

In his most recent publication Lost Boys of ANZAC, Professor Stanley traces the first wave of Australian troops that landed on Gallipoli and died on 25 April 1915. In finding out who these men were, how they died, and how their families learned of and reacted to their deaths, Professor Stanley tells us things we never knew about the landing on Gallipoli.
He offers sobering insights and salutary conclusions on the eve of the centenary of the Gallipoli campaign.
