Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference
November 8, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Welcome to the 13th Royal Australian Navy Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference, held in conjunction with the biennial Indo Pacific 2023 International Maritime Exposition.
Together these events underpin the largest maritime event of their kind in the Southern Hemisphere. They are an opportunity for industry, government, defence and academia to come together to showcase the outstanding work being done and opportunities for future collaboration and knowledge sharing. Collectively the conferences and exposition offer an engaging and thought-provoking program for those with a personal and professional interest in naval and maritime affairs.
In 2023 the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference will explore the theme “Fleet 2035: Sea Power and the Future of Maritime Warfare.” This theme encourages critical thinking about the role of sea power now and into the future. The conference will reflect the importance of the maritime domain and the role of the Royal Australian Navy to contribute to Australian diplomacy, deter the use of force and defend Australia and its interest if necessary.
