Celebrate HMAS Castlemaine 80th Anniversary

Originally commissioned in 1942, HMAS Castlemaine is celebrating its 80th Anniversary on Sunday 9 October.

This celebration will include a program of events taking place on the HMAS Castlemaine and on Commonwealth Reserve and Gem Pier, which will also mark Navy Week.

The exciting program includes the opportunity to climb aboard the HMAS Castlemaine, performances from the RAN Band, static displays in Commonwealth Reserve, RAAF Aircraft and RAN helicopter flying displays and RAN Ceremonial Sunset with Guard and Band.

Opening Hours

HMAS Castlemaine opening hours: 10.30am-3.30pm

Commonwealth Reserve activities: 1pm-5pm

Ceremonial Sunset: 7.15pm-7.45pm

Ticket prices

Commonwealth Reserve activities are free.

HMAS Castlemaine Entry Fees:
Adults: $8, Children 4-16 years: $4, Families (two adults and two children): $20,
Children under four years: free

All profits go towards the ship.
