John Wilkins

CMDR John M Wilkins OAM RFD RANR. John Wilkins is a Naval Historian, a member of the Society and immediate past President of the Navy League (Victorian Division). He joined the Royal Australian Naval Reserve in 1960 as Lieutenant (L) RANR, transferred to Special Branch as Lieutenant-Commander RLSP in 1972 and in 1980 was appointed Head of Intelligence {Reserves} in Melbourne. John was promoted to Commander in 1982 and transferred to the inactive list in 1985. John was awarded ther Reserve Force Decoration and Clasp (RFD*) in 1984.
