Anthony F. (Tony) Harris. A member of the MHSA since 1969 and a Fellow of the Society since 1992. Currently Secretary and previously Secretary and President of the South Australian (SA) Branch. Interests include the study of SA’s pre-Federation volunteer and militia forces and, more recently, research into the British Army in SA with particular reference to the Corps of Royal Sappers and Miners. Author of The Military Small Arms of South Australia 1839-1901 and compiler of Directory of Entries relating to Personnel Appointments etc. of the SA Military Forces Published in the Government Gazette, 1840-1901. He is a retired public servant with a background in the printing industry.
