Melbourne Writers Festival: Words and War

This year the Shrine of Remembrance partners with Melbourne Writers Festival to mark the centenary of the First World War. Three special events, featuring some of the finest writers and historians from Australia and around the world, will explore the causes, consequences and unknown histories of the First World War.
Three events will be held on Saturday 23 August. This is a ticketed event and full details will be released on Friday 18 July with the launch of the 2014 Melbourne Writers Festival program.
