Who Saved JFK?
January 1, 1970 @ 10:00 am
The play based on the book “Under One Flag” which features forewords from Prince Harry and LCpl Johnson Beharry VC.
Written by Erica Myers-Davis & Neil Cole.
There are hundreds of theories, books, films and documentaries about who killed JFK, no one knows who saved him. He was saved during the Second World War when his patrol boat was sunk by the Japanese and he and his crew were marooned on an island. This comic appreciation answers the question and in doing so highlights the role of indigenous and ethnic soldiers in the Second World War, who have received little or no recognition. Based on the book ‘Under One Flag: How indigenous and ethnic peoples of the Commonwealth and British Empire helped Great Britain win World War II’ by Erica Myers-Davis. Copies of the book will be available for sale on the night.
The story of ‘Who Saved JFK’ and why sometimes, history needs to be re-written.
