Commemorate Remembrance Day with Mat McLachlan

It’s been a difficult couple of years for everyone, and while this year we will commemorate Remembrance Day on Australian soil, I am delighted that with the return of international travel we will be able to walk the ground on battlefields around the world in 2022.
This year for Remembrance Day, I would like to invite you to join me for a very special online event that will take you to the battlefields of the Western Front, Vietnam and Kokoda to chat about some of the most significant battles in Australia’s history.

Special guests joining me will be historian and battlefield guide Pete Smith from the Somme; Vietnam veteran and Military Cross recipient Gary McKay; and historian and Kokoda specialist David Howell – who has undertaken over 60 crossings of the Kokoda Track.
